Its not something that can be done in a day (probably) and it really does target the players that just open the game looking for something to do for like 30 min. There's absolutely no way it's this high. There's gotta be something else in the formula here. Importantly, if this was true, the odds of having any one (of seven) level 9 link hit 10 during a run of 23-8 would be huge. In reality, you're lucky to get a single link level from 7-10 on a single character in a full run of 23-8.

Although after testing I found the quest modes, specially the 23-8 quest is the best way to fight more opponents and have more links levelled up 8-10: At this point levelling up links becomes extremely difficult, the rates significantly drop.

Really good use of keys, imo. If you’re stingy on those, 27-3 works fine for me. Decent use of stamina and doubles as an okay place to grind Incredible Gems.
